Why Church in the Loop?
Because you're not "religious" but want to grow in your spiritual life
Because you're curious about Jesus and his message of unconditional love
Because you need a safe place to figure things out
Because you want to be loved not judged
Remember, God loves you as you are, not as you should be.

Matthew 25: 34-40
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

As followers of Jesus, we believe that all people are important, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or immigration status. Everyone is equally loved by God, created in God's image for a life of purpose and for the betterment of all people everywhere.
This is why we stand for Democracy, the rule of law, and human rights for every person, equally in every society.
This is rooted in humankind being created in the image of God, with intrinsic value and importance, as deemed by our Creator, not the State (see Genesis 1:27).
Followers of Jesus should be involved in their communities to preserve the dignity of all people everywhere, because that's how God loves us, and it's the right thing to do.
